As I reflect over the last five months here in Soroti, I see clearly that it is all in the Lord’s timing. He asks us to let go of everything, and as we do, our focus becomes stronger in His will as He draws us closer to Him.

I am filled with joy at all the Lord has done and how He has led me to this present time. Nothing is wasted in the Lord. There is no condemnation for those who are in Him.


🌿 Spiritual Growth and Calling

What I now hear and know is this: He is taking me to the next spiritual level. This time of waiting in Soroti has not been wasted. It is not about the work or even the babies—it is about waiting on the Lord and seeing what He will do in His timing. This time in Africa has been my training ground, as this training could only take place in Africa. Whilst my training in China was foundational, this has been a very different type of battle.

Now I am ready to step into the real work God has assigned for me. I have fought battles and overcome through the blood of the Lamb. I have faced many obstacles - no one would be able to believe the extent of what I have been through, including being poisoned. Many people who have walked alongside me for a time on this journey have become weary and have fallen behind, but they fulfilled their purpose as unto the Lord and in the season of the Lord. He will bring new people along to go to the next level and we all give thanks for this revelation from the Lord.


🕊️ A Word from the Lord

Last Wednesday, the Lord spoke to me and said:

“You have always been a leader and a light to many showing them the path to become a holy nation... My kingdom will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Even at 80 I have numbered and multiplied your years. That is why I have people all ready to come in and help you, and as they wear out, I will bring others alongside of you to complete My Will. Because I have given you the strength and you are a strong woman of God.”

After these five months in Soroti, the Lord also gave me this scripture:

Matthew 10:14-15
If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. 15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.

So now I know it is time to go. I have given notice to leave on the 20th of April and am waiting on the Lord for where He will lead me next.


🏡 A Weekend Visit and God’s Protection

A lady, whom I will call her Mary to keep her anonymous, and her four children came to stay Saturday and Sunday nights. I wanted to give her and the children a treat. We had a lovely time playing games—tennis and badminton—and there was lots of laughter. We ate meals together around the table, which they don’t usually have, watched a movie at night, and they each got about 10 hours of sleep.

On Sunday we went to church, and during the service I became dizzy because of the loud music. I stepped outside and had angina pain. The pastor kindly took me home for my medication. After about four puffs under my tongue, I was able to return and carry on as normal. The guard saw what had happened and told the others to be kind and look after me, which they did. The rest of the afternoon was fine.

At 6am on Monday, the youngest left for school, and Mary walked her there. I said to the Lord, “We have 10 minutes—let Your words touch their hearts.” While she was gone, I spoke to the three children and told them, “Don’t lie to anybody, don’t speak bad things about people, if you can’t say something nice about someone, then don’t say anything at all, don’t gossip and talk about other people.” The oldest boy said he didn’t have a Bible, so I gave him one with a reading plan. I explained that if he followed it, he would read the entire Bible in a year. He was touched and had tears in his eyes, and asked many questions. It was incredible. I also told him that he must read stories out of the Bible to the younger ones every night as their time story. He said that he would do that too. I gave him my phone number if he ever needed help.

When Mary returned, the atmosphere changed. The children left for school, and I drove her to collect her things and take them to her new apartment as she was moving that day. On the way, she told me that people had been asking where I was going to go to, and that she had been telling people that I was going far, far away. I stopped and I was so stern with her, and told her that it was a lie and that her actions would bring consequences to her and her family. I warned her to remember my words, especially since she had not repented and changed her ways from lying, cheating, and doing things that are not good. Within minutes of arriving, I began to feel unwell again. I told her to unload her things quickly as I needed to leave immediately due to chest pain. As she did, the landlord approached me, but I made it clear I was only the driver and had nothing to do with any arrangements. I then left and drove home.

Shortly after, Mary called, but Roselyn, the lovely girl who works for me in the office, answered, and told her that I was resting and could not speak on the phone. Mary told her that the landlord would not let her move in because she hadn’t paid the balance. She had told him that I would pay it, which I knew nothing about. There was nothing I could do.

The guard advised me to see a doctor, which I did. My oxygen levels were low at first but improved after breathing exercises. My heart, blood pressure, sugar, and thyroid were all fine. The doctor found nothing wrong and even commended how I look after my body. I declined medication for dizziness and chose to rest for a week instead.

I praise God that He allowed the angina episode and used it to protect me from the landlord and a very difficult and awkward situation.
